Our customers

Our customers are primarily feed producers for the poultry industry or bird lovers. But in recent years, a new and rapidly growing customer group uses mussel shells for biological air and water filtering – a very exciting segment, in which DanShells has been actively involved in an innovative research project conducted by Aarhus University’s Department of Agroecology.

We have also entered recently into a partnership with Fredsø Logistik for mussel shells used for decoration in parks and gardens and for spreading on roads and footpaths to combat snow and ice.

We make a point out of getting to know our customers. That’s how we ensure they get precisely the products they need.
